Artist statement & About

The use of color in a painting can drastically change the energy within and surrounding a piece. At times, a painting’s energy can be overwhelming for the audience, ultimately leaving them lost in its meaning and purpose. This is why, as an artist, I focus greatly on the color palette and the distribution of paint across the canvas to help balance the feeling of my art. By featuring subtle hints of color and simple compositions at the heart of my pieces, I am able to communicate elegant stories from clear designs. 

Currently based in Cincinnati, I am an artist mostly focused on Oil paintings. My passion for art stems from my childhood from simple drawings to my early years in college when I discovered my true passion for painting.
